We are pleased to announce that the latest line up of Capital Models will play a charity benefit at the Kilted Pig, Colinton Road, Edinburgh on Saturday 29 November from 8pm, in memory of the much missed Jamie Frain. Proceeds will go to the British Heart Foundation...
Following Jamie's death there has been an understandable hiatus in the band's activity but the group has been spurred back into action at the request of the organisers of this benefit in Jamie's name...
The new line up comprises Andy Wilson, as before, on keyboards, David Reilly, moving from bass to guitar, Keith Apter, moving from drums to bass and, rejoining the group after 34 years away, original drummer Jim Park, who retakes his place behind the kit...

Capital Models are a quartet again, with their first new member since 1980... And so we have the return of the annual Capital Models Xmas Covers Night - at The Kilted Pig, 101 Colinton Road, Edinburgh (http://www.kiltedpig.co.uk/) on the last Saturday of the year, 28th December... Doors from 8:30 - get there early, it's going to be packed!!

Some History
Capital Models was a short lived (Sept 1979-August 1980) New Wave band from Edinburgh, contemporaries of the likes of Scars, Josef K, TV21, The Freeze, Pure Bears, The Cubs and The Visitors...
In 2012, three members of the band reunited with three aims:-
1. To play covers in and around Edinburgh but "covers with an edge"...
2. To re-record the original band's repertoire...
3. To write and record new Capital Models music...
